How Important is beauty to you?

To disagree with the view above would be a contradiction to myself, as i have been ranting on about how much i idolized a certain beautiful person the whole day.

As a teen, having relationships with the opposite sex will mean choosing partners. Teens like me will obviously care more about the outer beauty of a person as compared to the inner beauty. But looking ahead when choosing life partners. I feel that it is more important to look at the internal beauty as compared to the external beauty. Since everyone will have to judge a person according to beauty, be it the ineer or outer.. I feel that beauty is very important in the aspect of relationships.

As for beauty in art . I feel that they are just as important aspect of beauty as the one stated previously. Me being very fond of art, I am able to appreciate the beauty and value that lies in it. The reason why i consider beauty in art important is because it creates a platform for people to express their imaginations, experience the mysterious and also it is basic human instinct to seek out harmony, balance and rythm that can be found in art.

As a whole beauty has many aspects, but i have only touched on two of them. Beauty is quite possibly the most important thing in everyone's life. Some may choose to argue that beauty is unimportant to them, that beauty is superficial and shallow. But in all honesty that definition is shallow in itself.

Margaret Wolfe Hungerford said it best "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Which can be defined in a variety of ways. Personal beauty, attractiveness cannot be defined by individuals, collectives or the media. The definition is subjective and never objective. In the broader sense, beauty can be examined in creation, order, chaos, and destruction. Beauty permeates human existance, regardless of whether or not you think of it.

So how important is it? Well, if it permeates our existance, if beauty is defined as that which strikes "awe" into our lives, that which makes us stop and "smell the roses", then beauty commands, beauty controls us, and beauty defines us, not the other way around.

=) sorry for the long rj, i felt that since this is the last rj i will be submitting to you i feel that i should put in my full effort.

Evaluation on team.

Rajan-
Today rajan volunteered to play a very important role in the team, which was the scribe. I felt that he was very efficient in his job as a scribe. In terms of contributing ideas, he exceeded my expectations as he came up with a very good case study that worked hand in hand with our main point in beauty which was the Golden rule, plus he was able to accomplish all this in a small amount of time as he had to rush off for a CE talk(DOTA).

Rusdi-
I felt that even though rusdi was not able to answer the questions posed to him during the presentation, he is still one of the team's biggest assest as he came up with the group's points and was VERY good and gathering information and sources that GREATLY helped in the final product in the team's PPT.

Shida-
Being the only female member in the team today, made her outshine the male members in terms of Performance during the 1st and 2nd meeting. Shida took the role to motivate, encourage, discipline and reminding us to keep focused on the tasks at hand as me and rajan tend to get carried away with our jokes. I felt shida was good today as she did a very good slide which was not used in the other team's presentation which was the age,maturity and time slide. She was very clever in infering what we had to do from what we did in the worksheet

yes rajan..very nice CE talk you went to..XD..it took me 30 mins to do this but what the heck.

HAH!...today was my mom's birthday....and my family was sposed to go to desaru an stay there overnight to have a "bonding" session as a family...so we woke up at around 6...left house at 7+...waited around 1 hr before reaching Malaysia's custom...stupid jam..The stupider thing is dat when we reached the counter for stmping passports...they told us to head back home as my brother's passport had expired...Fucking great...wasted another 1 hr trying to get out of malaysia to singapore...had breakfast at woodlands point.. then my parents had this crazy idea to check in a hotel in singapore...Wtf ryte??!...so we went from woodlands to sentosa...tried 3 hotels...all full...then went to east coast...and still no vacancy...headed to many other different hotels and stil ZIT...so had lunch at this AWESOME restaurant at Downtown East called "Fresh Bulgoggi"..its a halal korean restaurant that has a great concept..go try it if u have the time...headed to ECP to cycle..been ages since i did that but i am still as good as before..=)...went the sun setted we headed to bugis to shop and eat..and then headed back home...
Overall it was an enjoyable experience..but not something i would like to repeat..

Wai seng u still owe me $28...

Drumsticks and prisoners

Whew...just finished a tiring but awesome day..School was as per normal...
Afta skool had fun wif the usual gang playing with chairs and the 'pressing game'(taudin) XD..went off at 5 to meet erny for the Jive yellow ribbon project packaging thing i signed up 4, while the gang went to old woodlands to taper rajan's jeans and get my sticks. we had to insert 6 different items into 700 bags... thankfully it was completed in 2 hours with the help of 13 others..Walked to CWP to meet taudin and rajan to pass my sticks. 187-ed back to bukit panjang..missed a stop cause i was asleep..which pissed me off cos i had to walk all the way back home...

This was the drumsticks they bought for me.. 5A Gisami sticks..they didnt cost much and arent reknowed but they will do for the moment as i am just a begginer and slowly practicing each day. Initially i wanted a 7A fine tip stick but they were out of stock so nizam got me this..he said they would do just as fine...Currently nizam and wing yan are my awesome tutors.With them i should be able to enter next year's JA audition...hope i will be decently good by then...Hehe..

Got to get that banana(triplet) right..for now...

Ok..finally back on my blog..(ive been trying 23948724 years to log in but couldnt till today cos i 4gt my password XD)

interesting events update:
uh..yesterday went to bottle tree park and singapore's only 'natural hotsprings wif my family , aunts and uncle and cousins.. the bottle tree park is amazing for relaxation and for sightseeing(it goes both ways) it featured these huge trees shaped like a bottle (hence the name)

As for the hot springs..ugh..the water there smells like rotten eggs as they contained sulphur but it has lots of skin healing properties and other stuff...the waer that comes out from the tap there is so hot that it can boil an egg(im not lying..seriously) but sadly for girls who thinks of going there right now to beautify your skin..i say be careful as there were alot of Lau Ti Kos at that place.XD

After that we went to Al-Azhar to eat..for those of you would like to try eating there i reccomend nasi goreng paprik...

BARBEQUE...FTW

orite finally on my blog back...didn did anything interesting the past few day...except for W35L barbeque yesterday..which was ShitLoads of fun. I would like to thank Nizam, Yusri and Alvin for organising the event and making it possible in a short timespan of 2 days, and also the rest of the saggi group which helped alot in provinding materials...I met rajan at cck platform at 12 to meet up with the rest to set up the pit....when we finally arrived after walking 8192243791748 miles from the opposite side of the park we setted the stuff and me, yusri, taudin and rajan started small time gambling in the tent till the others arrived...when night fell and the BBq started is wat Fun lah everyone was high and i ticked off 3 boxes in my sins to do beofre i die list( i wont tell ya wat it is XD...for those who know please keep it a secret)...wahaha..and too many other stuf happened to mention...anyway spent the WHOLE of my thursday sleeping in after taunting(yes Nizam its spelt Taunting not tonning)..im gonna post the pics after i get them from Nizam after he gets them from atiqah after she extracts it from her camera that we borrowed(cool shit la.. didn knew one of the Family knew my cousin)

Today was a rough day..started out with me meeting nizam at Marsiling MRT station..we were supposed to work for starhub and was told to meet the organizer at outram at 11..we reached there at 10.30am as we didnt want to look unprofessional arriving late...waited for 5min..then 10...then 30...then it turned into an hour..but still no sign of that jackhole..finally nizam called him and we were told to meet at a place near the MRT....Immediately we were taken aback by our co-workers..there were like 50 people mostly sec sch students..and all of them were chinese(not that i have any grudge against them or smt). Anyway we grouped wif 6 other chinese people and were told to go advertise at City plaza(nizam and me was like...wtf...wth is city plaza..)turns out it was near paya lebar mrt station...I learnt 1 thing while i was at city plaza...The place is not a shooping centre,but actually a place for indonesian/bangladesh men to oogle at the opposite sex of the same race...there were like hundreds of them....But the most shocking thing while i was advertising was that i saw a bangladeshi couple...both of em are guys(how often do you see bangladeshi gays...seriously) but the shocking thing was both of the sported a PKO-AFTERLIFE t-shirt(a mmo game) and they were in their late 40's..i was like wtf...all in all.. it was a fun day..were going again next week those who wanna join just tag my board...(we worked like 1 hour and slacked for the other hour and earned $28 for the day..that makes it like...$14/hr...nt bad)...Pics away

ALright its my 3rd post(note to self...got to stop doing this)....long day today...had maths...what a drag...luckily i had a great team once again (especially Wing Yan who came up with the resources ...Thx again...\m/) So i didn had much to do but CS with the other slackerzz..In the end i thought we did a good job.. rushed back home with amin...and went to religious class for my oh-so-important final year exams (wahhh paleehin.. I didnt know that foul-mouthed kid was holy...yes guys ....i do have my moments)...In the end i screwed the exams and went to lepak with the vitamilk group...Ughh checked the UT results for enterprise gt a freaking C+...my first UT result is crap...Those who got A's and B's....good job...Those who got C's and D's ...I feel you guys....off to RJ's....end post.

woot! 2nd post xD..today was science, my fav module + i had an awesome team and an awesome faci. At the end of the lesson the faci even told us that half the class would be getting A's.Awesomeness much.
